Bio

Sculptor currently living (barely) in Florida-da. Just to let you know, there is no culture in Florida, unless you are really into plastic flamingos and t-shirts with Jimmy Buffett's likeness (lyrics to his songs optional). It's too hot here and it rains a lot. Not the sweet-smelling, cooling rain of Seattle, but the stinking, humid, fungus-growing acid rain of the tropics. The only saving grace this place has is lots of ocean with great diving spots. Snorkeling with the manatees is a plus, too. But how often can one do these things without turning into a prune? Occasionally, one would like to discuss subjects more stimulating than Medicare & the latest surgery for hip replacement. Median age here is 70+ and the climate is conducive to hardening one's arteries & turning the old gray matter into stone. So, I have decided to join my two sons on Live Journal and vent my spleen. OOps, another medical reference; see what I mean about living in "God's Waiting Room"? It warps the soul.
